I know, I bought the box set just to try to be able to cope with the waiting.

The regular one or the expensive one? I think this must be one of the fastest moving LE's of all time, it's already completely sold out at wholesale according to Rightstuf.

I dunno Icy, I would say it's something of a valid point. If what I understand of the situation in Japan is true, it's mostly those sme*ually frustraed deviants who are going to sit up until 3am to watch a b00b show, not your average salaryman.

I cant picture a proper Japanese gentlemen popping down on the couch and watching Highschool DxD or something, and beings like 'I am fascinated by the complex story and well-wrought characters in this piece of animated entertainment', can you?

I think we're on the same page here. Fanservice isn't more prevalent because Japanese men are beta or emasculated, it's because the group of people who spend money on anime largely falls into that category. That's why I labeled "They like fanservice because they want to see giant racks" as a generalization. "Japanese men" and "Japanese men who purchase anime merchandise" are not synonymous.

I decided to splurge this time and buy the expensive one. But yeah, it's really selling fast.

True. Seems kinda like Funi is trying to be Aniplex this time around doesn't it, 2 soundtracks and all that jazz. Cant say I'm sad to see the return of 'proper' limited editions, but I reckon they could do without the physical extra's becasue all that sorta stuff just ends up in a box in the cupboard for me.

Been watching Hamatora and Pilot's Love Song.

Hamatora I'd say is an average to slightly above average in my opinion. Though the story does finally seem to be starting. Though with only 11 episodes in the series I do hope it can finish it on a good note.

Pilot's Love Song and I have fallen in love. Especially after the 2-3 most recent episodes. Anyone who hasn't started watching this I highly recommend it. Though be warned, it will pull at your heartstrings like a puppet.

Yeah, except I don't think Funi charges nearly as much as Aniplex does for their LEs (see the Madoka Magica LEs). The physical extra are kind of cool, I think, I like the key chains, but I do agree that most of what they're offering are things that'll probably just stay in the box. Still, it's a nice change from the normal LEs that you usually get from Funi, I really like that they added the soundtrack, as that's something that's usually hard to find (at least in my experience).

Finished watching Psycho Pass, I loved it, and I can't wait for the second season and movie! Gah, don't you hate waiting for new seasons of any show?! I'm not that patient.

The anime seems interesting, but I haven't watched it yet. I'll probably watch it as soon as I'm done re-watching Air.

Very interesting. I'll add them to my plan to watch list.

On another note, I still need to watch Byousoku 5 Centimeter. That's been on my plan to watch list forever, and I still haven't watched it.

~Air Review~

After watching it a second time through, I understood it a little more. However, there's some things I still couldn't understand. It was a really good anime, nevertheless. Here's the pros and cons:

Pros:
- I really liked the music, especially the song in episode 12.
- Yukito was a really cool character, IMO. I really liked his character.
- Misuzu reminded me of Ayu from Kanon somewhat, which I really liked.

Cons:
- It's not the easiest anime to follow. The whole crow thing still confuses me.
- Just like Kanon, there really wasn't a well defined romantic relationship (Idk why mal has this anime tagged as a romance). Heck, I don't think there was one in this series.

Overall Rating: 8/10. It's a pretty good anime, but as i've said, it's hard to know everything that's going on. I'd recommend it to those who likes complex anime like this one.

This is how I would rate the 3 Key anime in order:

1. Clannad
2. Kanon 2006
3. Air
