I remember being excited when I heard that was getting officially released... until I saw how butchered it was.

Thankfully fan translators are there to save the day.

Pokemon as a whole has had a lot of stupid censorship. Even extremely ignorant censorship like the stuff that 4kids did.

IDGAF. If video game companies want to make business decisions on their products, I'm all for it so long as they produce good content. If they censor it to become a piece of crap, then I'll vote with my wallet. It's as simple as that. If the censorship and changes are minor and don't impede my enjoyment, I'm not going to throw a hissy fit.
