Anyway, Konami America is wildly inconsistent when it comes to censoring cards. The horns were removed from demons in some cards and not others. Summoned Skull, for example, has horns. They tend to censor nudity, but they changed Tragedy from a guillotine to a woman stalked by Freddy Krueger because nudity or a guillotine are somehow less palatable than a woman being stalked by a serial killer (insert roll-eyes emoji). It's ridiculous.

Yu-Gi-Oh!'s card artwork changes are baffling.

Most of the changes just do not make sense to me whatsoever. So many changes render the cards less desirable to me also, which in turn pushes me away from the franchise.

Well, assuming that many Japs would've objected to (and thus not bought) the base game, I'd consider it an example of reasonable culturalization. Sorry for the misquote, though. There's definitely an increase of censorship worldwide.

Japan has been getting more and more behind the censoring of sexual content and violence and gore-filled content.

China pretty much censors everything. Including loads of stuff from South Korea.

South Korea censors a lot of Japanese stuff, including their Rising Sun.

Culturalization will eventually ruin my interests, and it feels like it's impossible to fight against.
