The Wolfenstein games you've played really didn't show the Swastika at all, or were you talking about those specific instances?

I could tell you what the reason for the rest of your post is, but I'm on my last chance until I get permanently forum banned so I'm not gonna risk it. I'd also hate to have anything on your thread have action taken against it.
I have a very good idea about the combination of reasons. It's just saddening and always baffling that it's happening.
I agree though, let's drop that, before it leads to that.

Nope, they didn't show them. That trailer was the first that I've seen where they use the Swastika.

Maybe. I dunno where I would have gotten it then.

"Among the games listed as being Islamophobic are Guitar Hero III, Devil May Cry – Dante’s Awakening, Resident Evil, Call of Duty, Hitman, Counter-Strike, Serious Sam, Muslim Massacre, Bomb Gaza, Pacman and Tekken."
Resident Evil?
Is there even a muslim on...any of their games? (I've helped my husband on all the games, save for ones on the Game Cube as I have never played on a Game Cube)
And innit Tekken just one where you fight others? Like Mortal Combat?
Guitar Hero 3 is understandable. Gtfo Dragon Force.
And I swear I'm not going to let her know all the pain I have known

"Among the other listed games are Resident Evil—where a copy of a book identified by the website as the Quran is left on the floor during a library scene—and Tekken Tag Tournament 2, another popular franchise, which featured the Arabic word “Allah” on the floor in one of the fighting arenas. (The game’s developer, Bandai Namco Games, updated the game in 2012 and removed the inscription after an outcry.)"
It seems like it's miniscule parts of the games that are 'causing offence'. It's leading to deplorable censorship.
I can't comprehend the way they think. It's alien to me.

Rofl, I just looked it up and it's Resident Evil 5, which I played with my husband the entire game (it is 2 player) and, yeah, I totally missed those books lol.
Wow.
And I swear I'm not going to let her know all the pain I have known
A tiny part of a large series of games that most players of the game will definitely miss or not even care about, is the cause of such backlash from a government. It's insanity.

Turkey is well on its way towards authoritarianism; banning video games is probably the least of its problems.
Patrolling Lore FC almost makes you wish for a Great Revision.
