Because gaming used to be one of my very few passions and source of enjoyment in life. You're right though, I don't care as much as I used to, so it is dwindling. I just mostly keep up with news about gaming out of habit.

Seems Valve is at least being somewhat open about what they are doing finally. Still illogical though, and I don't buy their excususes for a second.

Valve are known liars and anyone that continues to support them in hopes of them changing are deluded.

The bottom line is games aren't an art-form, maybe the could have been, but now it is entirely about the money.
