As a member of the LGBT community, I do have my share of experiences dealing with negativity surrounded with sexual orientation. I think one of the more challenging times in my life in terms of grappling with identity, would be during my teenage years. It is already hard enough to be a teenager, let alone an adolescent who feels confused about their sexual orientation. However, I must say that towards my final years of high school, I received an immense amount of support from my peers. I felt extremely blessed to be a part of such a compassionate, accepting and supportive cohort.
I'm entirely grateful that society is gradually becoming more accepting and tolerant of LGBT community. The fight will be hard. Slowly, but surely, our continuous struggle for equal rights will provide a better and more compassionate future for the next generation.
I have been bullied during my first decades, because people do not understand who I am. Even today many try to do so, because they do not understand. Cowards who meet, act and speak in groups, once you single them out they crack like an egg.
People will always gossip behind your back, stand tall. There are people like you out there. We are not alone and we are your true friends, without asking you questions.
I've been diagnosed with Asperger's here, and back in 2013 I did a course with Asphaleia, a group associated with the Princes' Trust. They helped me a lot with team enrichment and work skills, I made new friends there and now I'm doing a part-time job at night and casual hours during the day.
I've never really encountered anyone saying stuff like "just snap out of it" or stuff like that; they probably don't even know what mental problems are. But I have seen many people with Downs' and I'd have to say only someone who's been living under a rock for 50 years or so wouldn't be able to spot it straight away or dismiss it as something which it blatantly isn't.
For any and all with mental health issues, all I have to say is this. Never give up on yourself. You are not useless, or hopeless, or inhuman. Good things will happen. Believe in the people who look after you, and pay the idiots who go around saying "snap out of it" or "attitude problem" no heed. They're just ignorant people who buy into discriminatory propaganda, and you are better than them. Believe in yourself and what you can achieve, and trust those who care for you.

That's not even enough numbers for a Canadian telephone number.
Gimme a few minutes, and I'll compile a list of Canadian numbers for you (as the two you listed are French Speaking only numbers)
EDIT: Okay, so, I've compiled a list of Canadian numbers. However, the list is quite lengthy (probably about 6 posts worth) and I don't want to hijack your thread. Any suggestions?
EDIT2: Alright, I've shortened the list down to 1 post by only including toll free numbers. I'll post it below.

I honestly was delighted to see this charity. As someone who is autistic and suffers from severe depression with suicidal tendencies, it felt like I was heard. This is the first time I bought an event fully out in less than a minute, just because I know that the money will be going to a charity I strongly connect with.
This event also made me aware of these three organisations, which I know can help me. So a massive thanks for that!
And thanks for everyone of you guys in this thread for sharing information. It does help. Maybe not someone you know. Maybe someone who just plays Runescape to flee from the real world. No idea. But it WILL help people.
Thank you!
If you can read this, then you've reached the end of my post.
The UK Samaritans have a freephone number which costs nothing to call from landlines or mobiles. You can still call them even if you have no credit on your mobile. Additionally, the number will not be listed on any phone bills, so your call will remain totally private.
Calling 112 within the European Union should help because that links you to a service that will then forward you to whatever it requires if you are trying to kill yourself (usually a police intervention + ambulance). I've had the pleasure already.
