It's kind of weird that Litten is one of the fastest starters, tied with Treecko and only surpassed by Froakie. And Torracat is also tied second in terms of speed for secondary starter evolutions. While Incineroar is slower than Emboar. :P

But this reminds me of something. A Life Orb Torracat is pretty similar to a Light Ball Pikachu, stat wise. How about these for some setups with it? (I chose Popplio by the way as I'm going for my Fairy team still)

Jolly Nature

Flare Blitz
Outrage
Body Slam
Shadow Claw

Another move could be Leech Life to keep the assault going. It helps that that move was buffed so much. :D

Timid Nature

Heat Wave
Nasty Plot
Hidden Power

OK, I will admit Torracat doesn't have many options as a special sweeper. It can't even use Solarbeam. In fact, it can't use any special attacks aside from Fire types, Hidden Power and Round. That's pretty sad, a Fire type starter should be better. And it makes no sense that it goes from tied second fastest starter to something that's almost exactly Swampert after evolving. This sucks.

Hah, my first rant about starters. Anyway, those are kind of my only thoughts on what could make something decently competitive out of it. Sorry if it looks odd, I have been watching Verlisify on YouTube and he does some pretty unorthodox stuff.

Hmm...

Arcanine: 90/80/80

Torracat: 65/50/50

I can see it pulling a poor man's Arcanine with Eviolite once its Hidden Ability drops (Intimidate). It does get WoW, semi-reliable recovery with Leech Life, and it can paralyze what it can't burn with Body Slam.

Same case with Incineroar, with the only thing holding Incineroar back is lack of consistent recovery, like what Arcanine has.

I have a low opinion on Verlisify, but that's neither here nor there.

OK. I don't really follow any channels or people in particular, I just look at stuff here and there. Mostly stuff that catches my eye which I hadn't thought of.

I also think Alolan Persian can shine with Life Orb Technician or maybe Fur Coat with a vest or Amnesia. And I've got an Alolan Grimer with a Brave nature, and was wondering whether to breed it for Curse and focus on Sp.Def and HP.

Muk-A can do Trick Room shenanigans...I'd personally go Sassy and invest in some att, hp, and sp def, depending on what you want it to do, although Brave isn't too bad of an idea.

Curse
Knock Off
Poison Jab
Shadow Sneak

@ Black Sludge

Exact EVs I'd have to work out though, seeing what KOs Muk-A can avoid on the special side with the defensive investment, and dumping the rest into attack.

Persian-A makes for a much better support mon than a tank due to its garbo offensive presence outside of Foul Play.

I just thought of another little thing to do with A-Muk.

Sassy/Brave nature with HP IVs.
Mostly HP and Sp.Def EVs with maybe a few Attack and Def thrown in.
@Air Balloon

Power of Alchemy

Poison Jab
Curse
Rest

The other move can be anything you like, but the idea is to let it copy Wonder Guard off Shedinja (after maybe throwing in a few Shadow Sneaks). The only weakness A-Muk has is Ground, and with the Air Balloon, nothing will hit it. Oh wait, you're burned? Rest up. Oh wait, you're poisoned by a Salazzle? Rest up.

You can even throw in a Rock Slide and go for a flinch in a Trick Room setup.

Since I caught a Sassy Klefki on Moon, I thought of another little setup for it. The one on X worked really well for me, so here's something else.

@Red Card

Reflect
Light Screen
Spikes
Recycle

I know this one is susceptible to Taunt, but if it gets attacked while entry hazards are down, the Red Card switches the opponent out and you can recycle the Red Card again. And if you taunt them as a counter measure, this should work nicely.

I never did any tournaments, didn't really have time for them. I personally do a lot of breeding; I started on breeding Modest Cutiefly with Baton Pass before I reached the third island in Moon.

And that feel when I discovered that the accuracy of Dark Void has gone down from 80% to 50%.

I just realised something, but I would like to ask. What do you think is better, Azumarill or Eviolite Marill?

The reason I'm asking is because I was just researching into an idea for a baby team and I noticed that Azurill is by far the strongest of the lot, with an Attack equal to Marill and getting Huge Power.
