I meet a lot of friends at the library... My library has a lot of social programs and classes... Drama, playwriting, steampunk jewelry crafting, et cetera. Plus, the teen volunteer program is MAGNIFICENT. It's where I met some of my closest friends and my kind-of-but-not-exactly-girlfriend.

I literally don't have any friends (other then one of my cousins who's moving next month) so heck if I know. Even when I did have them, I have no idea how I got them-they came to me. (only one exception) I didn't bother keeping contact with them either, even though one of my highschool friends was in my college class.

I'm also a loner and I literally only go out on two occasions: Festivals-which I go to look around, not to interact (and my idea of interaction with the artists would be asking them questions which is just rude as much of that information can be proprietary.) and when I'm buying groceries. Well you can add a third to that as well,as I now attend rumage sales on a parking lot every now and then.


So yes, damn good question.

Making jewelry in a steampunk style. Examples are better then descriptions, so I'd recommend you to go to Etsy or any other handmade ventures and type 'steampunk jewelry' into the search. It basically involves brass, gears, clocks, etc vaguely (or not so vaguely) resembling victorian designs.

my best friend? how'd i meet her?
by getting a soccer ball to the head when i went over to talk to her 15 years ago....we were six...it hurt alot, she laughed...so did i
despite what she says, we're still close friends and we've been as such for 15 years.
even though i haven't seen her in person for a decade nor did i get back into contact with her until a few years ago.

friends start when they meet, but true friends meet through a shared laugh, or a soccer ball to the head

never forsake your friends, they're more important to you than you might think.

While I've made acquaintances before IRL, people I can talk to about things outside of my immediate family, I think the only people I'd call friends are over the internet. People who would pick me up when I'm down, and who I can depend on in the darkest times.

I may be a loner, but even the few friendships I've made have been positively magical. Headcanon Haven, where everything is made up and the points don't matter.
