I've seen the Necromancy skill be said as a stand-alone combat system on the Jagex Youtube section. That had me want to bring forth the Ranger Combat System.
I see the E.O.C. Abilities "Deadshot", "Shadow Tendrils", "Deaths Swiftness", and "Greater Deaths Swiftness" shouldn't have their icons be what they are IF Ranged is to be a Combat System aside something like Necromancy. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think RuneScape's diverse in the combat systems to support Humanity defeating monsters, beasts, and creatures of imagination or fantasy. If it is to inevitably be corrupted disproving the valor the game proliferates onto a Person, thanks to their Nobility (not freedom), then it makes sense that "Deadshot" has the image of a goblin - because they're INhumane, or something... And that "Deaths Swiftness" is an occultful image of an assailant resembling Necromancy assailants.. As for "Shadow Tendrils" I won't understand. I can comprehend it, but to understand it is retardation. Ranged has no supernaturality to itself - it's a dexterity of Might not Evangilism.
Who supports Jagex changing just the images of the abilities to something modest?
"Shadow Tendrils" can stay, sure, I only brought it up because it'd be obstinate not to include. Perhaps it could be wracked into a Gale of Wind that vectors the monster forward to a quicker death.

Whilst playing OSRS I learned to play without magic(k) accumulation, so quit at 99 Thieving. Restituting getting 99 Ranged on RS3 now.
