Support. Also, i would like to add that if ur butchery was high enough then you could get the bones and hides from said carcass. So if u want d bones u need a good butchery lvl. Would put off bots anyways lol

I do not support this idea as a skill, and considering butchery is to cooking as tailoring is to crafting, the point is rather clear. It's merely an addition to the cooking skill. While in reality they are not entirely the same, they do, however, intimately rely on the other.
This would be like making "necromancy" a skill when we already have summoning. Necromancy and Summoning are practically the same, only different in appearance. I hope you see where I'm going with this.
Consider this for a second: What if Herblore was divided into two separate skills? Respectively Herb-gathering and Potion-making. That's kind of what you're suggesting. Butchery is essential to cooking because it provides the meat to be cooked, and herb-gathering provides the herbs to be made into potions.
Because of it's close relation to cooking, the community cannot take "butchery" as a serious skill. Cooking and butchery are not the same, yes, that is true. However, they are too closely related to be separate skills. It would be like making tailoring a skill when it could just be added to crafting.
Also, realize this is a fantasy game, not reality. The rules here are clearly written differently than in reality because of the essential differences between reality and fantasy. Cooking, as a skill, could include butchery because it would be appropriate in a fantasy land.
You might bring up how farming is the vegetable version of butchery, but farming incorporates far more than just growing vegetables: it's agriculture, and not only that, but the best way to train the cooking skill is by cooking meats, not vegetable dishes.
To many players, a "butchery" skill might be a "waste" of time and experience. Instead, it could essentially renovate the cooking skill and become the RuneSpan of Cooking.
I would support this as an addition to cooking, but not as a separate skill because it is essentially -- with how this game works -- a part of cooking.
