I agree with you. This isnt cooking. You use the meat you get from butchery to cook, just like you use the logs you get from woodcutting to make fires, and good argument there butchers dont cook.
Maybe monsters can drop their corpses and from the corpses you can get meat and derivatives, or we could right click certain monsters and click an option to extract their meat.. And for those who think butchery is a stupid skill and it isnt worthy enough to be considered a skill, butchery does require skills in real life just like crafting.
