The thing is, I'm not entirely certain that butchery would fit in as a new skill.
I think perhaps as another part of a skill, but not as a new one. Also, the system should not be that you automatically get a carcass from every animal you kill. It should be that the corpse remains for a little while, and if you have the tools and a high enough cooking level, you can cut off certain desirable parts.
-Edit: Below this line I get unhelpful-
Cooking should scale in complexity, price and reward as we gain levels. I think that adding butchery could be a component for a new best food, which would be paired with potatoes, fishing, cake style stuff, fermentation, and roasting foods. I've an idea for a new best dish.

Butchery is the art back 1,000 years.
Drop the meat of animals killed. To easily from the cooked food of fish, and a colt, the work of the executioners. Hurt you can be certain fish, but only if they shall eat, but cut down to the very experienced to take away the poison, to be by the most high health and flavorful.
It is the only tool available to create multiple levels in general and always work with a knife, the knife only, but good!
Cooks food sold to be butchered for a new and exciting food, or a new food source, as the sellers.
Dragon tenderloin with iron, Salmon Roe, the possibilities are almost endless.
Directly to the faculty to sustain the fishing, hunting, a murderer, cook, and all the fight of the arts.
To create new posts:
Fletching I think he means the same thing. There are thousands of things we need here. I feel the lands any diminution, and very little food. I see it.
Falls off to you in any creature the whole body. The murder of iron, and shalt boil the flesh can process will be sold for meat. It will kill the dragon with green. The reduction of the body of the dragon.
.
There are thousands of creatures to be done. Poh, a butcher shop, and you add the XP connected with various instruments added. Knives, saws, knives and butchers will be available to the most leverage. There is a food market, where they can buy will be sold or cooked food.
These motions are effected to sustain the needs of those animals were slain fighting skills, and the might of genius and a very different character than before.
Just a few more ideas, the answer to be made by the

I like the idea but I have some doubts about this suggestion. Does a butcher need a table to train the skill, or he can train anywhere he wants? I think that for someone to be able to produce the finest pieces of food, he would need to be in a comfortable place like the butcher table you suggested before. My second doubt is about cooking but yet it is related to this new addition. The new pieces of food that the butchery skill would introduce could be cooked on a fire? Maybe as they are delicated, they would need to be cooked on a range. Really support, like the butchery idea. Hope you concider my suggestions or doubts for this skill to grow stronger. Keep working on it.

Kolonisten 6,
"Does a butcher need a table to train the skill, or he can train anywhere he wants?"
The way I figured it a Butcher can do his/her best work in the best conditions but can work anywhere. So, yes, a butcher can process a carcass right in the field, at the kill, with the best knife he can use (based on his/her butcher level) but will get fewer pieces or lesser quality pieces than if the work was done at a butchers block. Butchers blocks would be available at butcher shops around Runescape, but for a rental small fee, or a butchery room could be built in your POH. The higher your construction level the better the butchers block you can build and therefor once again the better results. Add on better knives and saws that may only be available to use in a butchers room or shop and the results are even better.
"The new pieces of food that the butchery skill would introduce could be cooked on a fire?"
I would think so but I can also see limitations based on your cooking level. Certain delicacies whose meats that can only be produced by a very talented butcher may well need cooking on a range by a very talented cook.
Thanks for your thoughts and input.

I like the idea, but it will require to Jagex change some stuff over there and up there and it will require a lot of time doing the drop tables, skilling areas, etc... Believe me, its a lot to do =/
And this forum was created since 09, its 12 and only the Rocktail has some boosting (as I know) and requires already high cooking/fishing levels, so maybe they wont do it in a near future... though, this idea is the 1 of 100 that stands up high! :)
Good luck anyways ^_^
