no support. not only would this require a great deal of not *needed* effort, but also would be most likely a part of cooking, not its own skill, and would destroy the fishing skill most likely.. or be useless itself

I just think the cooking skill is diverse enough and adding more to it doesn't make good use of the possibilities here.
And I'm so sick of having to get fish whenever good food is needed. With all the different animals out there why are we limited to fish as good food?
Different foods should give you different bonuses.
And as far as fishing and fish prices. Unfortunately they are all but ruined now anyhow due to the massive amount of botting folks at all the good fishing spots. I know very few legitimate folks that fish for cash these days. Just not worth the time.

I think this whole skill would make since more, and upset people less, if it was turned into "scavenging" and adding some out of food related ideas to it. Almost every skill has some sort of waste that can be scavenged (woodcutting for example, everything thats not logs could be used in farming for compost/fertilizer) I think it would have alot more fans this way, and would still be able to have what you wanted.
