Cool idea but it could just be added to cooking. It might not be big enough to be its own skill.

i support this only that it would blend into the cooking skill, as a skill on its own, it would be pointless

Couldn't this just be a new way to train cooking? That would give us more leveling options without needing a whole new skill to train.

Looking back I see:
Runecrafting released in 2004
Slayer in 2005
Farming and Construction in 2006
and Summoning in 2008
Sure seems like new skills are getting few and far between.
"Added to cooking"
"as a skill on its own, it would be pointless"
"without needing a whole new skill to train."
What is wrong with having a new skill??

Here I am thinking we should be looking for any possibilities for new skills. Some folks seem to like the ideas and then there are others that seem to look at a new skill as a burden.
My thought is: If we can develop any ideas into new skills lets work on them and develop the possibility.

Can we have a pop-up screen where we use the mouse (knife) to cut away the poison and to make the meat look good?
Would be great because it involves interactivity

I like the idea of expanding on the foods we eat-meats, but as someone said before this should be part of the skill cooking as butchering would be practically the same thing.
