I support this if it would be a simple thing to add. Even better if it's something the Ninjas could handle.
As previous posts have indicated, you can already face your friends by attempting to use some in-game item on them. That said, the ninjas might be able to piggy-back off that code and create a right-click option on other players that activates a "face" feature.

Personally, I probably wouldn't use the feature very much - maybe a few times or sparingly, but overall I don't have any real objections to the idea.

Maybe examining them could make you turn to them

Perhaps we could build on this further, by including a right-click "Locate" feature to the chat interface. That way, we could right-click a person who appears in the chat, or is on your friends list, select "Locate", and a visual indicator could appear on the screen highlighting that person's position (like with the breadcrumb tracker that can be enabled for quests and things). Additionally, your character could turn to face the other person.

This might cause problems for players who're trying to play Hide & Seek, so there would need to be a way to manually prevent yourself from being located for those cases, or simply for privacy reasons.

That would have to be better than the "Please say something, so I can attempt to spot you underneath your chat within a crowd before your chat-line disappears" method we currently use.

You want time wasted on this? To make this update would probably take more than an hour...

It's not a bad idea, but we have how many skills that nobody want's to touch due to boredom or whatever reason... would you rather have [Face: Bobtehnoobshow] OR would you rather enjoy mining, woodcutting, firemaking, any of those just a little bit more.

When Facing your friend is your top priority, are you bank standing when you do this usually???? and if your excuse is that you're maxed... DUDE you're a pro of the game, you're supposed to be helping build the game, for new comers and vet's alike.

I wouldn't mind it, but it's not even in my top 100.
Give me free stuffs plox!

I support this as it's not a bad idea. Would add to the social atmosphere of the game and make interactions more realistic. We aren't in dire need of this update, however it wouldn't be a bad thing. (Realized that this thread was really old) My apologies if I made an unnecessary comment.
