I would also suggest some pre-defined sorting arrangements or templates to make your own and automatically store the category of item in the listed spot.
Banks are already one-click, might as well take steps to make sorting through them less clicky as well.

Cool idea, but Wise Old Man already does the quest item sorting, too bad that option still needs a binch of fixes.
