Seems like what the WoM does, but for P2P.
I'm sure (especially people who own QPCs) have acquired a lot of "useless items" that they need to get rid of.
It would probably take JaGeX a long time to find all of the items but I think it's a decent idea.

^I also see we obtain items that if we get rid of them then they are gone forever. This would normally result in a bad idea. Who wouldn't want to be able to equip a tooth extractor? It is one of the items that is gone forever if you get rid of it. I kept it because of that reason.

support, although my bank isn't quite full eyt, i still wonder what quest items i may need again in the future, i'd rather fill it with necessitys than junk :P

Great idea, I like it a lot, but... the Wise Old Man in Draynor Village already does something very similar to this - he will tell you what quest items you do not need. But sometimes you get an item for a quest and end up throwing it away only to find out you need the item for the next quest in the series! The Wise Old Man does not really help a whole lot I'm afraid, but does do what you are suggesting but your ideas are much better.
I love the option of the GE runner, develop this more!

When I wrote this suggestion the WOM only looked at F2p non-member quest items.
He has definitely improved.
Screamyy, I purposely left out that part as I once had (maybe 4 years ago) a thread running called something like "Total net worth" that suggested this very thing. Jagex stated that they didn't want the game to be all about the race to riches and wouldn't be adding this.
Yet, as well all know too well, Jagex has been known to change their minds.
