I'd like a way to see when other players were last online at. This would be especially useful for clearing out inactive players from your friends list, or clan roster.

To avoid being too specific, there would probably be no more than the following options:
Online Now
< 1 hour ago
< 2 hours ago
< 6 hours ago
< 12 hours ago
< 1 day ago
< 2 days ago
< 1 week ago
< 1 month ago
More than a month ago

To appear as online (and thus reset the 'last online' counter), you must be VISIBLY online in whatever channel is being checked. That means that friends must have appeared online on the friends list (you can't add an offline/blocked player, and see when they were last online if they never appeared online to you) for friends, or have been online + IN the clan chat for clan roster - if they are in the clan but choose not to be in the clan chat for whatever reason, they will be considered 'offline' for the purpose of the clan roster. Things may be looking down now, but I see a light at the end of the tunnel;

note that I said "no more than" the options I provided - if Jagex wants to restrict it to the day/week/month rather than allowing people to guess at the time period that a player typically plays on, that's fine with me. It will still will meet my original purpose which was clearing out inactives, the more precise was just to be able to sync up schedules more easily to actually catch them online. Things may be looking down now, but I see a light at the end of the tunnel;
