I'm hesitant to say support to a tooltip as some of these would get quite long and possibly in the way of normal gameplay. Instead, I think that they should be as an examine - combine a 'message of the day' occasionally popping up (and bringing back message of the day for a variety of things/reasons is an entirely different thread) to remind us to check the examines, and simply getting in the habit of doing so to check out new gear that we acquire should be sufficient in my opinion. Things may be looking down now, but I see a light at the end of the tunnel;
Do you think I should get off the tracks?

Hi there and thank you for your input.

Putting the information in the right-click examine fails the purpose to have the information available on the first glace (and it isn't the most intuitive thing even with a motd-reminder). The thing is mouseover tooltips are working grandiously for over two decades now and I can't imagine that there would be any item in RS that would have a more complex tooltip than was back then available in diablo 2 - when using the detailed information mode. I do agree it can be overwhelming in RS terms, so players should be able to have information simplified (e.g. our current spirit pouch tooltips) - or even disabled like it was before the EoC.

All in all I like the idea of motd though as it could tell players quite interesting stuff. Improvements: Tooltip / (F2P) QoL v2

Hi everyone, can you modders add the disable prayers tooltips option for prayers and curses? As a legacy user prayers tooltips bother me a lot hiding my backpack when i let my mouse cursor on a prayer then switch to my backpack with f1 ley the description of the curses stay and hide my whole inventory this handicaps me a lot while im pking and i saw that in the oldschool runescape there is an option to hide prayers tooltips can you modders add this disable prayer tooltips option in rs3 because i tried to find it but i didn’t saw anything to disable prayers tooltips in the options while im using legacy combat mode ..thank you for your help

Heya - that basically would be the plan of including that stuff in a simplified or disabled tooltip layout. As a different option an optional toggle would be disabling tooltips while in combat, as some players might see them helpful in general, but don't want to see them in specific situations. Improvements: Tooltip / (F2P) QoL v2
