First thread ever, i thought why not! I got an idea and i think it would be both good for Jagex and for the players.
So we all know how amazing it is when this annoying bug has been fixed that has been going on for quite a while. what if there was a way to motivate players even more to report bugs if they come across one and even get the chance to get something in return.
So i just randomly thought about the 'Bug killer' title that Jagex maybe could bring into life for people that made bug reports that are legit and helpfull for ingame problems and the gameplay for players. I think this would also help Jagex a lot as it could potentially motivate people to send more and legit bug reports.
As an example: I reported 3 bugs (or whatever number) over the time that i played runescape and all of those bugs existed and where legit. After the last bug is fixed i would get the title.
That's going to create bug report spam jagex will get flooded by.
Also, they'd need to keep track of who reported what, and most reports will be of known bugs.
No thanks.

It obviously lead to the question was it your bug report exactly that led to a fix or not. I could imagine that this will cause a lot of bad blood.
For instance they had had the gamebreaker title in the past for a while for participating in betas. And while a lot of players gave great feedback, the title was only scarcely given out. I could imagine they would want to prevent something like that in the future.

Support, players should be rewarded for finding bugs not punished.
Players are already rewarded especially if its a gold dupe bug jagex allows them to abuse it for months and then allows them to keep their ill gotten gains
