After coming back for some time, this music is really something to look forward to and I thouroughly enjoy it :3 My favorites are the ones in and around Al Kharid.

I just wanted to add a compliment to this thread, so I'll say that Misthalin Mood III is fantastic and really helps immerse you in that time period (at least in my head it does!). Theme has been beautifully redone, Horizon is incredible, and the part in Newbie Melody where it crescendos really dug into the nostalgia.

I'm wondering why you changed quite a few songs fundamentally though - Still Night has become Busy Night and is quite (very) different. I don't recognise Crystal Sword at all either, it's just become entirely different (I really miss the old xylophone-like part :( ) And was the name change from Lightness to Darkness needed? :P

Really hard to choose between the good old songs, and the newer orchestral songs like horizon and village dance

however, i want YOU the audio mods to listen to soundtracks such as 'return of lucien' and 'the sound of guthix' and compare it with soundtracks of newer quests like TWW or content such as BoL
i feel like the soundtracks are losing their charm

Hello :) I have posted in another thread how much I appreciated the efforts of Audio team on RS3 , and I quote the following from what I posted , if you don't mind : " [i][i]waow ...many pieces were wonderfully played , and nicely tweaked ..., among them some of my favourites like : Magic Dance , Autumn Voyage , Book of spells , Alter Ego , to name few ...., and of course the wonderful : Return of Lucien ...., and although it takes sometimes a while to be loaded ..., I wait for them to be loaded and delay my teleportation between areas , just to enjoy listening to them[/i] " , but I also mentioned that there's one piece which I listened to it several times because it didn't feel right for me , that piece is : [b]Eruption[/b] , which I also mentioned in the other post , I found that the old version was more peaceful and pleasing , and although the melody that was playing in the background is nicely apparent now , I think that the piece needs a small tweaking .... , I think that drums and horns are too loud ..., yet the piece still one of my favourites in the game ... I hope that I am not being too annoying by re- mentioning this ..., sorry if I have ..., and please don't hate for it , ... RS music has always been , and always will be close to my heart ... Ah , by the way , I also would love very much to see more pieces available for downloading in the music section =) ... All I have to say : Thank you again Audio team so much for such a wonderfully presented job ....

I haven't said it here yet, but the music of RS3 really is one of the most amazing improvements of them all. On par with the graphical improvements for sure.

I have rs music playlists running 24/7 during divination training :)
