many sell bonds to buy rares when premier comes out. So, that could drive up rare prices. Also, many return to runescape during the holidays, for both the events and because they have time. This might drive up rares sometimes.
I've never thought people buy rares simply because it's Christmas, in order to wear for Christmas. I mostly played before bonds entered the game, and back then no one believed Santa rises for Christmas.
Originally in RSC, maybe people did believe Santa rises for Christmas, but the myth lost popularity before bonds. Everyone has different experiences. This is my experience. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity.
