A lot of bonds were bought last year with rl cash, crashing the price. I think those have slowly been used up. Now we see that, oh, we do have inflation.

This is a reply to wherever.

I think most players figured this out a long time ago. in a few weeks all phats will be max shards and everything else moves along its path.

including pvm resources bonds etc.
trusting certain pc lists or prices of items or websites that dont belong to jagex will get you into trouble notice: external websites and trades are your responsibility, dont get fooled!.

With the overdo of rainbow items players are less likely to invest in sof/th rares. The part I think they really messed up on was changing some rainbow tokens from purple rares to red. Seems like false advertising i don't know UK law. But you state an item to be a purple rare for years players buy keys for it spend in game gp then switch it to a red seems pretty messed up. Does all this mean invest more in older rares, not really. My theory is the company has become real money hungry especially now with the selling of Skilling bundles it's only going to get worse. Older rare owners take comfort that they are safe jagex will never release them or mods own them etc. But after they run out of methods to increase their revenue rares are next they won't release them through an event it would be done in some way that maximizes profit but will likely harm the prices of rares. But before that I think th items will be targeted including walks which is likely to be bad for walk hoarders but depends on how they decide to bring them back into the game. But no rare/token/item is really safe from greed, selling Skilling bundles is a big hint in my opinion of what's to come. With each poor decision jagex will manage to disappoint a segment of the community which will lead them to quitting at some point. With th/rares it's going to be merchers, skilling bundles skillers/pvmers. I don't think the current owner of jagex Carlyle Group understands that a dropping player count and increasing profit is not a good thing lmao.

Cosmetics don't really make them alot of money unless you make the drops rare like rainbow was for years until now. I'm surprised they haven't added things like grico to the oddment store ppl spend keys for xp/beneficial items mostly. I need my blue charms back.

Jagex stated a while back that they get 1/3 of their revenue from micro transactions the rest comes from subscriptions. But if you exclude osrs 59% of their revenue on rs3 comes from micro transactions. That's a pretty big number I feel like rs3 takes all the hits so osrs can stay as it is :p . Jagex has been sold 3 times in the last 4 years if i remember correctly. recently it was sold for
530M
to an equity fund they don't care about the game they want to see an return on their investment (increased net) and i doubt they care how jagex management does it. What happens when you can't increase the player count (subscriptions) after doing mobile/steam/ you take the easy way and overload on MTX lmao.
