As long as he's played, if he'd wanted, he could have like 20 rare sets easily by now. People like him aren't greedy. And yes, rares were super easy to get, regardless of what anyone says. When GWD1 was out, extremely easy.
And at one point, d chain from KQ and d legs from just metals were worth lots. Also, new updates would offer huge opportunities with skilling sometimes. I don't mean just 85 slayer or double natures. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity.

Peep and Eggo are extremely good pets. I just unlocked both. Peep is nice bc small, doesn't get in the way.
I don't recommend investing in either, just fun pets. Eggo has really held its price but could crash after event, will probably return. It's just a really neat pet. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity.

Very easy to get and very cheap too way back in late 2005 to early 2006. 100m and change for set and few other rares. My collection grows still today.
The most I've ever paid was 2 billion for another Blue Party hat. I was shaking then handing over the cash and if I had to buy 1 today I would be able to make a milk shake handing over the shards lol. Comprehensive Account Security

I might have bought my first rare, a blue h'ween, by running water vials from the store after updates. I remember it being hugely profitable, like 300k/hr. I also mined coal and made cannon balls.

When I returned to the game a couple years ago, I was thrilled to hold max shards. It is really something. It's also a thrill to fill the bond holder with 500.
It's so much cash; it's unwieldy.

ohhh Cannon balls I remember making well over 650,000 of them when they were 300gp each. Ohhhh the good old days of making money was fun lol.
Yes any skill over 90+ was hard to get. Now skills to 200m are so easy. I'm 19k exp from 200m Farming. I'll miss farming as once I get that 200m it's a retired skill.
