New spears are scythes with poison, currently 45-55m. Passive is really good and its a t90 tk replace scythe in like 95% places cause accuracy is basically irrelavent, and no one really bosses with a scythe.

Price of scythe like 380- 400 roughly and price of lance is 40-50?

So currently it's significantly better than a lance and equates to a scythe everywhere where accuracy is irrelevant.

Idk i guess everyone can make their own judgements

I know t92 spear is better, but scythe/lance/spear alternative for Greg boss. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity. :(

scythe is mostly usefull for alot of minion clearing or bosses that require the distance.

personally i prefer to use the khopeshes but i barely use melee overall.

Poison is limited to some bosses too because not every boss can be poisoned.

keeping in mind scythe is at his best at non poison bosses that require distance and accuracy i think scythe is better in terms of end tier pvming. while the new weapon with tier 70 accuracy is more usefull for smaller bosses that dont require accuracy boosts. so mid tier bosses.

giant mole and chaos elemental can be considered low tier

GWD 1+2 can be considered mid tier.

Nex, kalphite king, rax. and others likewise can be considered hard tier.

Telos, rago, solak, aod, raksha, raids. can be considered end tier.

ED 1-2-3 are hard tier solo and mid tier duo/trio.

Hit me up for feedback on above but this is how i see the tiers of bosses.

its based on the mechanics of the bosses and the damage the bosses can deal. trusting certain pc lists or prices of items or websites that dont belong to jagex will get you into trouble notice: external websites and trades are your responsibility, dont get fooled!.

Tbh Nex Nex and Rax i would lower a tier to mid tier

With the existence of Pvming/Raid FC I think you can knock raids into hard tier, the achto isn't that desireable anymore and the codices aren't overly valuable.

Raksha I would put in the same skill level as ED3 so hard tier too.

Rago i would also lump into hard tier with HM Rago in end tier

Tbh Nex and Rax i would lower into mid tier now with all the gear and dps rates available - It's fairly easy to just hard dps through some mechanics.

I think range is probably the best combat style for every boss to get into with how easy it is to dps using it. It somehow went from the worst to broken in like 1 year.

I don't really know anywhere mage is even worth using anymore tbh. If you dps efficiently or optimally then you're legit trolling for using magic in like 99% places
