You need a ge for the old system to work, and you might need a more active market also.

I was just angry a legit trade by a known merch was labeled manip like a year ago. I lost faith seeing that play out. I completely lost faith then. But the old system was amazing.

Anyway, I mean I’m happy. It doesn’t affect me if things change. Margins are just bigger for merchants now. I’m not really in the game anymore, just used to be really into it.

I think platinum tokens will make people sell their lower rares to instantly buy a phat making phats rise even more.

so that will make lower rares drop in price as a result. but obviously thats only one of the multiple outcomes that could arise, maybe some ppl will buy out all lower rares at the ge to merch those. trusting certain pc lists or prices of items or websites that dont belong to jagex will get you into trouble notice: external websites and trades are your responsibility, dont get fooled!.

You might be right about rhodium bars. But players still hold lower rares, which rise too.

Money influences a lot of people. The rquark system, when it worked, is one of the most amazing things Ive seen. It was a trustless system within a videogame that was largely voluntary. How was that possible?

Margins were killed, prices were reported often against self interest, just amazing.

Nothing else in runescape other than mint cakes as currency or maybe seeing nature rune runners or maybe portal slaying clans has been so surprising. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity. :(

Find a way to stop RWT rares will crash the next day, the incentive is real money no one puts in this much effort to drive up prices for pixels. let's say a rwter owns bulk Santas which he bought around 3b does everything in his power to drive up the price, recent price of santa 6b. The price in runescape will be reflected in the rwt world so someone just doubled their net worth in a few months lol. This was just a simple example some have made over 10x-20x returns which are reflected irl.
