People were claiming we were in deflation, but pretty sure we're not. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity.

A panic down was attempted before (not recently), and it was just stopped. Partly it was a false stop (people rallied insisting prices could never go down, and that worked), but clearly it was also a real recovery, since prices are so high now.
I expected then that hats would recover, but in a normal market that included the GE, we would have seen a crash before the recovery. Because the original rise was so strong and sudden.
