Zombie token in the ge, but my offer didnt fill, this time.

Next time. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity. :(

I've spent the past 3 days reading this thread from the first post, quite a fun read. I gotta say I will probably never own a partyhat lol

I would think if they release a Black partyhat during a Christmas event where you get maybe 2 per account (basically how they do in OSRS) but only for 1 year, that would be a decent new "rare" for new people to get into and by 2040 it could be in the Billions while the OG partyhats are in the Quadrillions.

^ personally i didnt want to believe that the gp quantity went up but i see it everywhere in w2 in my clan in my home world for myself that it has become a straight up fact. meanwhile there is a limit to rares so ppl move on to other sectors like dyes etc making those burst in price too. same for weapons and supplies for pvming. its not a bad thing exactly because ppl can earn cash quicker than like 3-4 years ago. so i wonder where ppl worry on. i do get the cash limit and not fixing that will boost rares and dyes etc even more till a point of no return. but i dont think expanding the ge limit on gp will help. i would support something new and similar to sum shards for stashing cash tho because that only has an indirect effort on the money flow while changing the ge limit will change things directly which might make it more complicated. trusting certain pc lists or prices of items or websites that dont belong to jagex will get you into trouble notice: external websites and trades are your responsibility, dont get fooled!.

I like the way they introduced rares like the christmas scythe and black santa hat. Giving every account even 1 of a new rare will make that rare so cheap. I loved how they introduced the christmas scythe: 5,000 were slowly released in game during the event, with 250 released each day for 14 days and an additional 750 released at the end of each week for 2 weeks. I like how they told us how many were being released and I like how they introduced them on a holiday.

Honestly it is a good system, just think more than 5,000. Not enough to flood the market, but enough so that everyone who really wants one can save up and grab it after a little while of being introduced to the game. I imagine a lot of casuals who are barely worth a few hundred million should maybe have a chance at it, but that's just my thought.
