whats the benefit of rereleasing a token? I already have all the beach tokens unlocked so I wouldn't need a rerelease. Players who missed the events get to unlock everything. Old content that's free to bring back. I enjoyed unlocking everything last year. One person on my fl still hasn't unlocked every beach token. So, some do appreciate it.
Perhaps the number 1 reason: Sticking it to hoarders who dared sell their rares. Lesson we're supposed to learn: The only rares are rares. However, I think this is a mistake on Jagex's part.
Imagine if beach returns next year. It'll be a blood bath. Oddment prices will be like 500x rather than the 1.5k-3k now. 4m seahorse pets, things like that. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity.

The belief seemed to be that the virus could be eliminated if enough were done, but it was too contagious. Even North Korea has been hit, and it sealed its borders.
RNA vaccines are too new for me. I love vaccines, just the process of RNA infection scares me. I'd prefer they made Covid vaccines like they make flu vaccines. I'd be first in line, then.
