Green santa was .02 purple hween is .2 chance or 1/500 so a lot more common.

Jagex ran ads for Golden Party Hat and Purple Halloween Mask, I noticed a lot more people came back for Halloween and felt comfortable buying it from GE rather than doing spins. Me included.

Just didn't want to spend money or time, but the gold pieces I had plenty of. 'Been sitting in my bank for 10 years. Golden party hat seemed like a gimmick but Purple Halloween Mask was a rush of FOMO and nostalgia.

I get that this mask could follow a completely new price trend from Green Santa. But whatever, we came back for one so we made sure we got one.
