Chill, last time a discontinue item was released was like years ago (not tokens)

I think it was time for some new ones to be introduced and new rares are welcome imo

They won't re-release old rares, it will do more damage than good. I know for a fact if they did start introducing old rares, I'd just leave the game

I think they will just introduce new rares instead, and that's fine with me, as long as we don't get them every month, lols

They have not done it in a while, true. But that is not to say they won't release new rares every 3-4 months like the started doing in the beginning.

And so what if a few people quit? Jagex will be swimming in money. The problem hoarders have not realized yet is that they are shooting themselves in the foot while not even considering the big picture for Jagex as a company. Yes, you can control the market, but you are also less powerful than the majority of players. When adding content, the company will not think about "Atlantis, the player who said will quit if we rerelease" but instead focus on the success of previous releases and make a business decision.

If you do end up quitting for something so ridiculous, don't let the door hit you on your way out. You obviously did not enjoy playing the actual game which has nothing to do with rares. I bet Jagex will gain a lot more player engagement (which normally translate into future loyal customers) than the few that will leave.

New rares won’t bring mass new mass players to the game, updated graphics and making the game easier for people who have never played RuneScape before to jump straight in and actually no what’s going on as it can be extremely overwhelming for a new player as a lot of the game is quiet confusing and complex will bring new players in.
I guess with more money from these events they could invest in these aspects.
