Jagex isn't giving away Gold Phats. They deliberately tied it to participation in game activities and capped it at one per account for a reason.. Those alts still have to have some level of skill to obtain the eight shards required.

Stop making it seem as though a person can create a level 3 account on Monday morning and get a hat on Monday afternoon. It's not THAT easy..

By the way, this all assumes that every last one of those 35k players care enough to create alts to get multiple hats. I can assure you, a good percentage of RS3 players don't care. They'll probably stop at 1 if they even care enough to put in the effort..

Most players probably will have Alts before this event is over.

They can make the easiest GP right now by selling the Phat
or making potentially even more GP later by keeping the Phat.

400m now or maybe 1 or 2b years from now, and all it takes is 20 hrs and a bond.

This is an exaggeration.

Most players in RS3 aren't creating alts for the sole purpose of obtaining Phats. Most will get 1 on their main account and be done with it, and that's if they even care enough to go through the process of obtaining shards/doings quests/clue scrolls/bossing etc..

That's not to say a few players won't create alts for that purpose (we have an idea of who those types of players are by now)..

But to make it appear as though there are thousands and thousands of alts being created everyday for Phats seems farfetched. Even if that was the case, they'd still have to actually train and have some skill to get one. Again, Jagex is just not giving away Phats..

Yes, the people that wanted the Phat on their mains got it during the first few days of it coming into the game. Thus the initial influx of hats. That was to be expected..

I don't know all about 10K hats currently in the game, I know they said 2-3k was already in game and that was maybe 3 days after the initial release.

Bond prices are not reflecting some of the extremely high numbers being stated here.

Make an account buy a 40m bond get a phat in 20hrs make a 400m profit.

If it was that Easy we would be seeing bonds close to 70-80m and trending higher.

i mean who doesn't love an easy 400m right? :P

I made 5 off them so far. first one i did took me 24 hours on my main. Next did 2 at the time on alts and that took me 21hours . Next 2 took me 18 hours and there are another 2 on there way.
It's way to easy if you ask me but, I'm not complaning I'm making bank.

Average levels for shards

35-40 mining.
60-70 firemaking.
40 def 45-50 ranged and both combat and pvm shard at kbd around 250-300kc.
and that's all you need.

Congrats, I guess? Jagex must love you lol.. 7 alts with memberships.

How many other players are interested in creating 7 Alts for the purpose of hoarding Gold Phats?

I guess we'll see how desperate some people are for easy GP.

That's nice keep making bank, but that doesn't mean it's easy for everyone, I fished for 3hrs didn't get a shard i went and bought the hat lmao :| . Not everyone is willing to grind/spend that much time on rs. You need a lot more people doing what your doing, to create enough supply to match some of the numbers being thrown out on this thread. If we see massive phat farming it would be reflective through the price of bonds which i am not seeing. to farm about 100k phats in the time left there needs to be about 3k bond buying daily for alts.

The action or process of causing so much damage to something that it no longer exists or cannot be repaired.
