Is there a way to see how many golden partyhats are in the game currently? compared to how many numbers of other rares are currently in the game such as like a santa hat.

No, they will never say that. However, Mod Hooli said that they will maybe say number of Golden partyhats at end of the event.
The action or process of causing so much damage to something that it no longer exists or cannot be repaired.

Well.. yak track takes a lot longer than a regular shard but its afk. Starting from a new alt, it will be so much easier now. Still 30m shard and a bond but I don't have any hopes for this hat in terms of value. Might be seeing a row of bots running around before this event is over.

Jagex clearly just wants the extra revenue. No restrictions, no minimum levels. Even the quest could've allowed you to finish them w/o reqs but require other quests to obtain a shard. It is what it is.

Google "Gold farming for Alts" and you will have you answer. If incense sticks were faster to buy and sell, I would agree (GE makes things look better then they actual are) but Gold Phat is mostly afk except 45 min quests and 3 hrs of thieving/agil.
I don't know of anyone who isn't going for Gold on more then one account. Yak Track has just made it that much easier with "skill and kill" all the way up to Phat Shard. Prepare for a crash!

There's other more afk methods to do.

You're a clown if you think the whole Gold Partyhat process is totally "afk" because it obviously isn't, as I mentioned before, it's pretty draining, especially the 4 quests which you will need to do over and over again, also the Yak Track isn't afk either, neither is PvM.

If it was as farm-able as you make it sound, we would already have felt it in the market.

I also think most players who invest in Gphats do it for the long run

As long as merchers keep prices up more people will farm on alts. Considering not everyone can pvm this is an alternative Of obtaining a high value gp drop. Yak track and boss shard is easily altable as its mostly skill and chill tasks and you can kbd for boss shard in w2. I need my blue charms back.

I already posted the non afk-able methods, 30-45 min of quests, 2-4 hrs of Agil, or Thief, the rest is afk-able for alts. (Some of us are from OSRS, not AFKscape, so this isn't at all draining for us.)
Yak Track is also afk-able all the way up to 15.
I'm sorry you obviously want these things to actually be Holly Wreaths; but they are Fish Masks.
Live with it.
