Inflation should never exist. Nobody else should ever have to "suffer" and "go without" something just because some other horder(s) jack up the cost of something they own more than one multiple of. And as far as being wealthier, a "max cash cap" is necessary universally, be in reality or videogames. Nobody should be "so well off" they have excess of what they don't need (typically just to elevate their EGOTISM and hold something other others to make themselves feel somehow more "special"

TL;DR: Devaluing other people doesn't raise your own value or ire, in fact, quite the opposite.
They need more gold sinks in the game to combat inflation overall. They need to have more skill-based sinks IMO, buy mats from vendors to advance lvls/make things and such
