Jagex officially stated that number 2 days ago but please remember there is still month+ for people to get it but numbers will not be high either way, we'll see at end but I predict 7-8K maximum, over 10K is hardly possible in my opinion.

Yes, you can earn multiple halos but all 2958 were handed to players. For example, I earned 7 halos across 4 accounts and everything was handed to me without any problems on monday afternoon. I think you're trying to say that less people got it but that's not important as it's still the same number of halos at end.
The action or process of causing so much damage to something that it no longer exists or cannot be repaired.

490k active players a day all with different gameplay hours
no one that plays would intentionally miss out on a legit disc
gph could be the longest lasting low priced rare on rs
pointless traded cosmetic items are up more
if 100 players bought 100 as investment thats 10k phats thats likely to happen and done nothing to prices except reduce price

some ppl claim they made over 100 on diff accounts this is unlikely but possible

100 gph is like 19bill so is likely
so a tiny 100 players = 10k ghats from market, ghats price done nothing
price is just based on hype

No, what I was suggesting was that, perhaps, if a single player took 3 top 100 positions, they might still only get 1 halo, meaning that there would be less. But I suppose that isn't the case. Now with added

If you want to look at it like that, then it's a Dark Day for most real discontinued rares.

Red Santa was 6-8b 30 weeks ago, it's lower now and so is everything else. I'd say it's probably because of the panic Jagex created when they said that they will add GE Tax and above max cash offers in GE

Another reason could be the fact that Suity Bot is not price-checking real discontinued rares anymore, so most discontinued prices are on stand by, and if nothing is moving then nor will the Golden Partyhat - Good thing this is only temporarily, because everything that comes down must go up again! and vice versa

I wasn't able to make a gph though I am active (back then I was working so much ... thus, Sadly :O I was 1 single shard away from making my own GPH :'( ) ..So, I then purchased like 7 of them and enjoy them via keepsake to date.

I believe in GPH long term, but let us see. Play it by ear, I think it's current price is a discount in the grand scheme. That is simply imo though, good luck out there my friends! ~The White Wolf
