you can't seriously sit there and compare the green santa hat to the black santa hat... first of all, the black santa was not available on treasure hunter like the green santa hat is. there's multiple ways to get the green one whereas the black only had one method. not to mention there's less black santa's then holly wreaths in the game, so that's another reason they're worth so much.

there is no actual number of how many are in the game. and i heard the under 1k black santa thing from a reddit post and it was a mod who said it. but think whatever you want, i don't really care.

edit: i'm guessing you're going off of the random reddit user who decided to do some math and pull a random number out of their ass. anyone can do that. it doesn't mean that's how much are in the game. only way to really tell how much there are is by getting everyone who owns one to come together and count how many there are. lol

I don't understand why players are hoarding these when jagex literally said they plan to bring them back at some point. I'm guessing just because it's a "Santa hat" lmao.

WHERE did they say that? I'm sick of people using this line without a proper reference to back it up. I want to know exactly where Jagex said that.

"Just a little added note on this as well - we've seen a lot of questions about the Green Santa Hat and (understandably!) a lot of you wanting to know if this is a one time only opportunity to get it.

Unlike the Golden Party Hat, this isn't something we're saying is a get it now or miss out forever moment -
we're definitely open to it returning in the future around Christmas sometime.

We haven't got concrete plans to share on when that next moment is or how often it will appear beyond that I'm afraid, but hopefully that gives you some peace of mind for now"







If you think it's a good investment, go for it buy as many don't listen to me, lol. All your seeing right now is nervous merchers/players/fomo panic selling/ panic buying they are confused whether to dump or keep lmao.

Mod Hooli literally CONFIRMED on Reddit that the Green Santa hat is NOT a discontinued ITEM, it will be returning whenever they feel like adding it to the game

Therefore, this Green Santa hat is NOT as special as the others
