What they should of done is kept on going with the idea of the auctioning of previously banned accounts bank bidders I think was the idea and release all the rares back into the game. That would bring the market right down for all of it

aint gonna change a thing tbh. the market will be bought up by people needing the items for staking n such. sure a select few would be able to get their hands on some rares. but the moment someone sees bank value of 2147mil or something the bids gonna go to the price of the lowest rare. and what would that get the people that weren't around before the 2011 gambling days were rares reach max cash?

I disagree and it would be significant because a LOT of rares are ''stuck'' on banned accounts. There is a lot of money in the game - yes, but people couldn't buy out everything.
Mod Mark once said how are they considering to re-introduce rares from banned accounts directly to the Grand Exchange which is probably the best idea for ''lower'' rares but not so much for partyhats because some people could profit 30B-100B of it in matter of seconds, if they are fast enough. Jagex would just return the original rares to the players through bidding and remove them from banned accounts, they wouldn't introduce any new items and that's something that I can agree with.

It's not just rares up now. The issue seems to just be the gp dupe, return of players, gp from TH, and inflation in general.
I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity.

75% of the trades for phats are accounts with 15m or less total exp. price checking is the least of the inflation problem. there wouldn't be a demand for inflation if there wasn't a place were the inflation was needed and people would gain from it outside of runescape aka RWTing. more or less back to the point of RWTArena needs to be shut down in some sort of way and order.
Jagex put out a post a few years back saying almost 50% of the RS community had bought gold as some point. Fighting the RWT fight is like fighting the drug war IRL ...there is just no winning at it. Yes I do agree the duel arena only brings a negative impact to the game and should be closed down forever. Jagex is surely mistaken. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid.
