i personally wouldn't care if there wasn't a single update while this was being developed it would be so worth it and i think it would bring a lot of new players to the game and also removing lodestones would make it more fun too :)
Pleaseee Jagex!

Maybe not make the map larger, I could understand why that would be such a huge undertaking, and why it would take so long, but eventually adding on more and more to the current map, even that would be good. Through the years we've all seen rises and falls of new/old parts of the map, so I don't see why it can't be done again. Prifddinas is obviously the most recent area that has sprung up, but I don't really count that seeing as how previously it was already there, just not open to players (in a sense since the city hadn't been built yet).
Hell, even just adding a large plain with a bunch of trees would be interesting to run around in. It doesn't have to be some "grand" scheme in which you build tons of new cities, even if some players would say "Why would you build it with nothing interesting?" I know a lot of players would appreciate seeing anything go up on the map to change things around a bit.

What if they could just enlarge the map and fill the blank spaces with just trees and rocks etc for now. Atleast that way they don't have to fill it up with 50 million other pieces of content right away causing such an update to take 10 years.

Honestly the worlds already tend to be fairly empty and lonely now, especially since the max any world see now is 1200 people (and a good chunk of them just at the ge)

a bigger world would be an good reason to reduce the number of worlds w/o affecting much, allowing more players to be on each server at a time

Every single individual on this thread who supports an expansion of the current game world, and/or the release of brand new continents or additions to the current mainland, you all need to stick together when RuneLabs pitches in.

This thread has been around for over a year now, exceeding 60 pages and 600 posts. Listen up people, when RuneLabs hits in, we NEED to stick together and support this idea and help make it become a reality!

If enough of us players suggest for this, it may as well just become true, and if not quite how we wanted it, Jagex will definitely be affected by this much amount of support for something, so they will definitely do something related to it.
This is a dying game. Everything about it is just gaining XP and levels for a stupid cape, it's not about the unlocks. The skills are broken, combat system is dull and repetitive. And the MTX...lol.

Page 35 we finally get a response!

And their response was "no." Why do you keep the thread bumped?

The closest thing I can think of is new areas being bigger, like how OSRS is adding a giant continent. I feel like Priffdinas is great in that regard. Not just being big but feeling big, with the use of heights and buildings on stilts.
Headcanon Haven, where everything is made up and the points don't matter.

It was only one JMod - I pointed it out because it meant that at least some of them are aware of the idea. Not only do JMods often say different things on the same issues at the same time, but Jagex as a whole has shifted its stance on subjects they definitively stood before.
