While I would enjoy the skill cap being raised to 120 for everything (just think of the lore and cool content that could be released with such milestones...) The most logical solution to this situation would be to
increase the experience gained from EVERYTHING by a factor of 1538% along with increasing the experience needed in the skill for each respective level by the same 1538%.
This means that the community will feel no increase in the time it takes to get a 99 and it moves the experience for 99 up to 200,000,000 xp.

A small example of change: XP to level 2 from 1 is 83, with the 1538%, the level requires 1,276.5 xp. killing a cow before gives 26.5 xp (with 8.7 constitution xp) and after said change, the experience given will be 407.6 (with 133.9 constitution xp).

This would face a lot of opposition especially from those top hi scorers that achieved 200m xp the original way.

NO NO NO!!!! 99 agility is already hellish enough, I refuse to put up with 120 agility

anyways non combat skills, sure why not?

combat, what are they going to do? create ultra vorago?

Have read there are already plans for a Vorago hard mode and even a more challenging boss to be released in 2015.

Sorry but a lot of us don't play rs 24/7, we have better things to do than grind to 100m or 200m on every skill once we get to 99.

There is no such thing as "easy scape", the only people who call rs easyscape are a bunch of butt hurt maxed players who a) got max stats before jagex introduced more xp efficient methods or b) are selfish enough to want to prevent casual players from high level content because "they didn't have to work as hard" as maxed players did in the past, which roughly translates to "If I wasted my life to have access to high level content, so should you."

Idiots like these spend their time crying about Jagex ruining rs by changing the fundamentals of the game. Ex: Old combat style to EoC. Yet, Ironically, they want to change another fundamental piece of the game the level 99 skill cap. They make nostalgic cries about how simple everything was "back in the day", yet they try to make the game more difficult by asking for high levels of xp that would require you to no life, one would assume that if you wanted to keep the game "simple" you wouldn't be advocating for something that would require you to no life to succeed.

100m and 200m xp are not requirements to be a maxed player, they are optional achievements and they should stay that way. Answer me this, why should a casual player be forced to no life if he/she ever chooses to max every skill?

This game isn't all about grinding exp. I am looking at you, Completionist and Trimmed Completionist Capes!

Kind of a absurd statement. I would think it was obvious that the game is many things to many different people.

Even level 120 skills is an absurd statement, considering that skills can potentially go up to level 126.

EDIT: I agree with Desseous.

EDIT again: Oddly enough, this is the 126th post on your thread, what a coincidence. :)

Your condescending tone and rude remarks makes you a player not worth my time to converse with further.

As a maxed player, I can see how 120 skills might seem like a good idea. But some skills don't even have content up to the high 90's (95+) yet. While we do already have 120 capes in the game, If you take a look the number of people who have 120's it isn't very many outside of DG.

J-mods are already worrying about the inevitable power creep that's going to ensue when 95-99 and armor arise. Having potential lv 100+ weapons would break the game. Sure there may be content that is specifically for those weapons, but what about the existing content? Are they going to triple monsters health to compensate for such high level weapons? Jagex would only be hurting the rest of the community that doesn't have these.

All in all, I would like to see them finish off existing content and reworking skills before i see actual 100+ levels and content. I'm not saying 120 isn't a good idea, But for the next 3-4 years it probably wont be.
