It is only logical we are going to some lore about Armadyl because of his Staff. We know Elder God quests/lore are coming out in the near future and likely lore of the Elder Artifacts will surface in a way like The Needle was introduced.

However, I don't think much will be there other than background history of Armadyl and the Avansies like how Armadyl obtained the Staff. We probably will not have a full Rite of Passage quest and Abbinah at all.

Honestly, the main lore I want from RoP is the full story of Armadyl's ascension. Everything else is secondary to me (though it would be nice to know more about Armadyl and to see more of his Guardians)

Realistically I think Amardyl just stumbled onto the Staff by chance like how V and Guthix got a hold of the Stone of Jas.

They are not the "something else" that the World Guardian is/was. They are just some lucky creatures with RNGesus on their side.

Edit; yeah I gave up on RoP and pretty much quit RS a while ago. I still check here for...I actually don’t know why. I’ve proposed alternatives, I’ve tried to pull some strings behind the scenes to make *something* happen, but to no avail. Feel free to continue posting here and asking for this quest, but the old guard have moved on to greener pastures.
