hey guys, in case you did not know there are new exclusive cosmetic items for those whose accounts were locked out

I am very jealous these are super cool looking. I hope Jagex introduces a way to voluntarily lock our accounts out so we can be eligible for it - I would gladly lock my account out to get that disk of returning cosmetic. Buy Zemomarks / Chromatic Partyhats safely here

Im sure if you were in our shoes youd wouldnt be saying this at all. Yet you can play the game just fine so yopu dont deserve anything more.

I see this as nothing more than a psyop done on purpose to cause war within the community. I don't play this game because of the toxicity within the gaming developers. Why would you reward locked out accounts with exclusive items? Makes no sense at all. Leadership is stuck on braindead island, ROFL. Best wishes to all.

I mean - up to this point, their management of the situation was good. They have clearly communicated what's going on and most players actually have accepted that no update month due to this reason.

That players have to be compensated for being locked out for a month (and that other issues showing up) is the correct way - also that promotions they have (partially) missed out are prolongued accordingly. That only some players are receiving exclusive items, that couldn't be received in any other way is brazen and doesn't cause anything else, but spite - especially a low blow after the majority has been showing solidarity for this whole month. They just should hand out those exclusives to everybody - since everybody had to endure said no update month.

If the locked out aren't compensated sufficiently the catch up package could be bumped up accordingly - after all it's mainly oriented towards skillers, so maybe they could put in things for other groups of players as well. Improvements: Tooltip / (F2P) QoL v2

Uhh, you do know this isnt the first time there hasnt been any updates right?

Plus not getting any updates =/= not being able to play. You still have everything on your acc while we might be missing a small handful of items.

So no, those who can still play/acc in perfect condition shouldnt get anything.



If this can happen then i demand jagex rerelease all exclusive cosmetics from every event/promo/w/e in the past as thats only fair right?

While I agree that only affected P2P accounts should've been credited for membership, giving them and only them exclusive cosmetics ain't it, chief. Just because we weren't locked out doesn't mean we weren't stripped of a month of updates. In fact, this even delayed Old School a bit. As such, I wholeheartedly believe that these cosmetics should be open to everyone ("unaffected" F2P players included). “Nothing is so common as the wish to be remarkable.”

Once again, there has been times when there was just months of ninja updates and no "real" updates, yet no one complained about those.



Plus why cant i have the RuneFest/Gameblast Auction/all past holiday event items yet you lot think you should get these?

Wheres the logic behind that?
