Every requirement they raise brings Runescape closer to becoming illegal.

How is making 120 skill going to make a game "illegal"? :@

Last i checked you have all the time in the world to do any of said content.

If you read the post you'd have answered your own question. Law and regulations don't care about how long you feel like you can play a video game.

No. The regulator is reactive, and unless we start seeing deaths from playing runescape for too long, this is not gonna affect them.

This also refers to TH and how people consider it gambling. Unless it makes a fuss in the media, nothing is gonna be done about it from the regulator.

Regulations are reactive to companies that break the law, not how much attention a company gets for breaking the law. Talking about it in the media helps make the law work faster but you're making it seem like you can get away with murder just by living in denial that you killed somebody. Unfortunately it doesn't work that way, and if anyone actually goes as far as to convince themselves that's how the justice system works well.. the Earth is flat and you'd believe it. When the mtx ban hits the EU Jagex is going to have to remove mtx or follow the guidelines established under its policy, that's fact. Just because a company is smaller than some other companies doesn't mean they're going to be flying under the radar, they're still selling to the EU so they have to follow the regulations to avoid fines/an outright ban of the game itself, which includes the new mtx laws going into effect and consumer expectations and addict-ability in video games. Imagine a new tax on U.S. goods where a small tomato company is above the law and doesn't pay the new tax simply because they're a smaller company and they don't get noticed as much.

I would vote no unless it came with a complete rework. Simply adding more familiars up to 120 is unappealing and may cause unbalance. I'd also like to see the update staggered - a few levels added each month or something similar. Or maybe even reverting everyone back to 13,034,431.00 xp.

I have no interest in 120scape but would consider a yes vote as long as the update is not just more of the same old same old.
The point of the journey is not to arrive.

How would it cause "unbalance'?

When people are out of ideas and think of the most silliest reasons to stop 120 summoning
facepalm.

Its true that that law reason is not the point here, but I still do not see any reason in raising the lvl cap.

1. Raising the lvl cap is not balanced for summoning (to much xp for a not rewarding creature or useless in total.
2. People hate the mass grind so will quit.
3. Even more useless lvls/ empty spots.
3. A total rework after other skill have been reworked will be way more effective.

So far its just another elitism that basically keep begging for 120 skills even if there is no logic in it.
You already got the 120 capes Perfect balanced solution, but sadly some people just keep forcing.

A full rework would probably be best, but I don't agree with the mass grind. It's summoning that we're talking about. With the current XP rates, it is extremely fast (even with getting charm, which you get from slayer anyway) to get 200m and Lv120.
And with new pouches (which I am certain that will be added), it will only be faster.

Hopefully Jagex will introduce some nice item/gold sinks with this update and for once, do something with skilling and not everything with PvM in mind.
