Jagex tried but they didn't try hard enough I guess. The 2 mistakes they made were not monitoring the raffle, and giving everyone 10 tickets.

Reminds me of a song. But tbh, I have that with every update they do nowadays.

personally i think this issue will always exist and if someone pays jagex more than me they should have better chances of getting rewards, that is just a business model

I think they shouldnt allow this to happen just to troll others though. Jagex should step up and take action against trolls raffle rigging

There's this super simple solution that would solve everything; the bigger the prize, the higher your total level needs to be to enter. For example (with the 2019 prizes):

Golden Chaotic weapons (t80) > a minimum total level of 2500
Golden Godswords + Warpriest armour (t75) > a minimum total level of 2000
Golden Barrows equipment > a minimum total level of 1500

Etc, etc. Maybe no minimum total level requirement for the protean packs and deposit boxes so the legit low level noobs can win at least something, but honestly, this would solve so many problems.

I know there was a minimum total level of 150 required this year, but this is just a joke for a jobless dude with way too much time on his hands like that one kid who rigs these raffles every single year (we all know who I'm talking about). With my idea, he would probably still rig it, but at least he won't steal the important prizes that everyone wants. AND it also gives the low level people (-1500 total) a goal to work on. It's a win-win situation to be honest.

This would work too

How about the requirement of having to have diassembled a level 12 regular chaotic to prove you've actually have experience with chaotics, the same for godswords, warpriest (at least one piece of warpriest disassembled since it can't be augmented) and barrows?

I'd say give balthazar gold to enter the raffle, but that's probably unrealistic.
