If this really is an issue one way i can think of to help would be total level = amount of tickets you can gain during the event under 150 max of 2 per day (to gain)

1000 can gain 4 per day

1500 5 per day

2000 6 per day

2376 7 per day

Max of 15 entries stays same


You gain more by playing the game. Higher level activities higher chance of recieving a ticket. Like killing telos 50% chance of a ticket. Making overloads 1:250 chance of ticket per overload. Cooking shrimp 1:1000 chance of ticket

Or an easier way if doing it if the activity is under level 30 then 1:1000 drop for ticket over 31 1:750 over level 50 1:600

Just a quicj example balancing will be needed

Or just remove raffle.

Or just ban accounts associated with abusing raffle rigging Against Raffle Rigging since 2015

The amount of funding and time that would go into that would be so much to police it. Even though i do agree anyone who uses alts to abuse should be banned. Whether thats rigging events minigame, bypassing forum bans. Scamming etc. Too much manual effort with how much it happens. Easier to just have another system involved to help combat it. So with my suggestion people hoarding accounts will have a harder time. Actual players will get advantage with playing the game.
so just saying "just ban them" like a 12 year old screeching. doesnt really help prevent anything especially when theres no line established with. what would be using alts for your own personal gain. or legit players who just own more than one account.

Add a limit on the amount of accounts that an individual may be allowed to use (ie 5).

It also isn't nice to go around saying people are scheeching like kids. I'm sure you are aware a previous raffle thread of mine got locked for trolls derailing the thread, and I don't want that to happen to this thread. Against Raffle Rigging since 2015

it's pretty disgusting and inefficient to keep banning people because of this "rigging". it is far more logical and incredibly convenient for everyone if jagex simply put in restrictions like what tenebri suggests. although i'm enjoying all the stuff i'm winning every day with the way things are now :) WAAAGH!!!

No thats punishing fair players who have many account builds. Doing what i say everyone who is legit still is able to play raffle. Isnt that what you are wanting? A fair way to preven

While that didn't really make sense, your proposal doesnt fix Raffle Rigging. The current minimim level requirement has been proven ineffective and the community want further action to be taken against raffle riggers. The best way for this seems to be making it against the rules, and subsequently banning players who later abuse the system. Against Raffle Rigging since 2015

Sounds like bait more than anything tbh.

Brushing that off however, its not more convenient for Jagex to add restrictions. The more they add restrictions, the more damage is being done to legitimate players. I don't want legitimate lower level accounts to have a lower chance to win the raffle, the community wants raffle rigging to be stopped. The best and most effective way to do this is to ban any accounts associated with raffle rigging Against Raffle Rigging since 2015

You can't ban players because its not against the rules, people have been telling you that for years and you still don't understand.

Rigging mini games is against the rules but when trim first came out players was using alts to start cw games then joining with there main when there was 5 mins left, sending alts to pre start new games and getting max points. Time it took to world hop and enter a game say 10 mins so 6+ games per hour. Jagex knew it was being done yet they did nothing for a year then changed it to having to be in game for at least 10 mins and harder to join if the teams already had even numbers. Not a single player got a ban for it or had castle wars games removed from account. Not long later they had whole clans doing it.

Raffle is not a mini game its a temp event so if you want to ban people where do you draw the line because there will be no players left.

Using pre made clans to do warbands or soul wars or using clans for non combat stealing creations for fast points can all be classed as rigging mini games and many more examples so do you also want to ban all them players?
