i am finding there's new holiday "events" quite boring and dragged out. i liked the one mini quest type events way more, mostly caz you could knock it out in a day and be done with it.

also didn't help that the notification for when a party is going to star dosnt always pop up. the last 2 days i didnt get a notification but today i got one then missed one. also getting enough pumpkins is just boring. im just over 200 and am loosening my mind due to boredom
They occur every half past the hour, on a loop of Um - Draynor - Fort Forinthry, in that order. You don't necessarily need the notification if you keep an eye on your clock, however it is worth posting a bug report about it.

Game Time for each event:

00:30: Fort Forinthry
01:30: Um
02:30: Draynor
03:30: Fort Forinthry
04:30: Um
05:30: Draynor
06:30: Fort Forinthry
07:30: Um
08:30: Draynor
09:30: Fort Forinthry
10:30: Um
11:30: Draynor

I hope this info helps.

i see you missed the whole point in my post. it wasnt about where/when the event is, it was that the notifications that should pop up before the event dosnt. also you never need to know where its going to be, just get a free teleport from jack

as alot of people the grind know the time can get away from you so its easy to miss when the event is going to start
Logic, who needs it...

I don't know what "marketing BS", perhaps something just in your own mind?

Pumkpins spawns in designated locations. Even if you don't move or "stuck" for no reason, they will spawn again in the same place later. It means you can always smash at least one pumpkin even if you don't move, stuck and missed the first spawn.
You've clearly misread the post.

We're talking about the pumpkins getting "stuck", not the players.

I didn't miss the point, hence why I said to report it as a bug ;)

Some people haven't noticed it's on a loop, and so don't know the times off by heart. It was just a little bit of extra info for anyone else reading this public forum in case they had a similar issue.

Pumpkins don't get stuck. I have seen nobody from nowhere mentioned that. Besides, there are like 20 spawn points. If one pumpkin is "stuck", there are plenty of pumpkins in other locations.

Exactly! They don't get stuck!

Re-read the discussion and you may understand what's being talked about.

This event clearly shows the incompetence of the Jagex staff that put this Halloween event together. Great job!! Was it bring your kids to work day and you asked them to design it? That would make more sense than this shit show designed by adults. These events and rewards have become a joke to the community that pay for better content from you and you reward us with garbage. Weak necroplasms for a reward you thought was a great idea? Very disappointing Jagex and you use to be better than this.

The number of players smashing pumpkins is amazing. It is even more popular than Special WIlderness Flash Events. I like the 25 H'Oddments per pumpkin smashed. It helps me to buy out all the untradeable items in the H'Oddments Store, hopefully by next Halloween, if not this one.

See my complaint would be, the event itself, it's been terrible for ages for seasonal events. I've smashed 1.4k pumpkins, done 450 keys (as they were cheap) and used 50k + oddments and gotten nothing. Not only that but I've had nothing from ANY seasonal event since I started in 2005 despite trying very hard for them (excluding those gift wrap scythes and frosted wreaths) as they were handed out like candy anyway.
I understand it's not all (gain) about getting the items going but that's the main reason players are doing it.
I've now given up trying anymore.

1.4k pumpkins x 25 H'oddments each = 35k H'oddments.

450 keys x a minimum of 50H'oddments each = 22.5k H'oddments from cashout

450 keys / 12 = 37.5 Harvest Bonus bar refills, rounding down to 37 refills x 800 H'oddments bonus each = 29.6k H'Oddments

So you should have obtained at least over 87k H'Oddments.

Past Holiday items from the H'Oddments Store like the Dragnor Count Outfits are at most 1.5k H'oddment each. How come you didn't find anything good for your H'Oddments?

"gift wrap scythes and frosted wreaths" are Christmas items. Why are you looking for Christmas items in October?
