Halloween 2023 event is poor.

i am finding there's new holiday "events" quite boring and dragged out. i liked the one mini quest type events way more, mostly caz you could knock it out in a day and be done with it.

also didn't help that the notification for when a party is going to star dosnt always pop up. the last 2 days i didnt get a notification but today i got one then missed one. also getting enough pumpkins is just boring. im just over 200 and am loosening my mind due to boredom Logic, who needs it...

You don't necessarily need the notification if you keep an eye on your clock, however it is worth posting a bug report about it.

Game Time for each event:

00:30: Fort Forinthry
01:30: Um
02:30: Draynor
03:30: Fort Forinthry
04:30: Um
05:30: Draynor
06:30: Fort Forinthry
07:30: Um
08:30: Draynor
09:30: Fort Forinthry
10:30: Um
11:30: Draynor

We can right click and see the "smash pumpkin" option. Players always move after smashing a pumpkin in a specific location anyway. Hardly anybody want to miss the chance of winning very nice Halloween cosmetics standing still.

I have already gotten 2 tradeable Soul Dive Ability Overrides too.

Don't forget the H'oddments. Even if you only manage to smash just 1 pumpkin, you will get 5 more from the completion of the event. So at least 6 pumpkins or 150 H'oddments per 5 minutes of efforts every hour (or just 1 second if you choose to just smash 1 pumpkin).

Please read again, the post you replied to talked about "annoying" of not being able to smash a pumpkin. Regardless you are "stuck" or not, my post clearly showed players the way to smash the pumpkin, and the fact that we still a minimum of 6 pumpkins completing the event.

Jeremy is talking about spots moving around, not that he can't smash pumpkins.

I don't know what "marketing BS", perhaps something just in your own mind?

Pumkpins spawns in designated locations. Even if you don't move or "stuck" for no reason, they will spawn again in the same place later. It means you can always smash at least one pumpkin even if you don't move, stuck and missed the first spawn.
