I agree that canifis is one of the best spot for halloween and yes it is a shame it cant ever be held there.

Hopefully one day they can make it temporarily f2p during the duration of the event.

To be honest, at this point I wouldn't mind if northern Morytania was made F2P permanently. There's not a lot for them to do there (the entrances to Mort Myre, Port Phasmatys, and the Slayer Tower would be presumably be inaccessible in free worlds), but since they made Priest in Peril F2P and let them have Wolfsbane, I see no reason to not let them hang around Canifis and stab some werewolves with it. It's not like the dagger is good for much else anyway.

Since Mod Jack is going to tell us about the Wildy Flash Event in tomorrow's livestream and Mod Miva is telling us we will know about the Halloween Event only in NEXT Friday, it likely implies the Wildy Flash Mob and the Halloween event are two different events.

Glad to see we're getting info and an event nonetheless.

None of the Jmods ever said that, but certain RSOF user(s) think so.

Seems like we are getting not just one, but two events this month.

first off hello fellow bunny :D

prime example of how I feel about holiday events. I love my classic holiday items! My ears and scythe are all these years later my favorite items in game. Hell I only play this account now because when I play one of my old accounts "used as bank space holders in classic" That I did not get my ears on, I miss them and come back even though I'm actually bored on the account itself.. I had stopped playing a bit and missed the floppy ears that I wanted BAD on my iron.. I'm not implying go back to the classic one day event pick up from the ground sort of event, but I so miss the early 2k rs2 holiday events.
I would absolutely LOVE a "retro" event of sorts, I suppose similar to how OSRS does them. Mini quest with a silly story line, get it done and move on with our day.

^Nope, no one here thought that at all.

Plus it was already confirmed, even before said jmod post, that we'd be getting 2 "events" this month.

Certain user(s) thought there would be just one event this month and Wildy Flashmob would be the Halloween event. It is academic now as that user knew it wasn't the case and made another thread.

Anyway, lorewise the Wildy Flashmob and the Halloween event this year can still be related too. So now we know we are getting Demonheim mobs for the Wildy Flash event, and but this is not the first time we get them. Remember, we saw Daemonheim mobs from "Til Death do the apart thanks to the Black Stone. It won't surprise me even we have 2 separate events this Halloween month, we may still have interrelated lore between them.
