I've given up on any sort of holiday event. I mean they didn't even bother to acknowledge the queen's passing and I think that's utterly disgraceful on their part given they did a Diamond Jubilee thing back in 2012. But then that was before their steadfastness to all things MTX-related.

I'm not expecting much; RS3!Jagex has shifted towards (mostly) recycled Holiday events set in the same area with minor skilling activities and a couple of super short miniquests to get reward currency to spend on cosmetics and mystery boxes, while hosting a TH event for most of the month for the Zombie walk and other old cosmetics for H'Oddments. I expect this Hallowe'en will be more of the same from the past two years; we'll hang around Draynor Manor doing "spooky" activities for whatever horror-themed faction hosts them (two years ago it was the Horsemen of the Apocalypse, last year it was Werewolves).

As for who will host them this year? I'm thinking it'll be demons. Not just because of the current Zamorak plotline, but because it's been a while since RuneScape has played up the idea of demonic possession for its scare factor. Not to mention the high likelihood of getting a new, recoloured Halloween Mask after the success of Golden Partyhats and Green Santa Hats last year; the Masks are demon-inspired anyway.

I've always wanted a Halloween event in Canafis, but those damn f2p players need to be included as well I guess.

Well it doesnt make sense to exclude f2p from a seasonal event.

I mean they always have f2p rewards and elements, thus only logical to include f2p.

Yeah obviously, that's what I meant. I didn't say we should exclude them.

Canafis is just such a spooky place already, I've always wanted a Halloween event there, but because of F2p players I know that it will never happen.

Unless for Halloween they allow F2P players access to Canafis in a limited way, so that they get a taste of a member location, and a cool spooky Halloween event as well.

Maybe getting a glimpse of a members only location, even just for the holiday event will convince some F2P players to get some membership.

I agree that canifis is one of the best spot for halloween and yes it is a shame it cant ever be held there.

Hopefully one day they can make it temporarily f2p during the duration of the event.

Would love a Violet is Boo quest, since The Nightmare before Christmas is one of my favourite films. Question is whether it’d be a halloween quest or a Christmas one?

I imagine the Draynor stuff will make a return and be built on, as it simply makes sense to keep it.

What I’m really hoping for though, would be a sequel to Broken Home. That was by far one of the best halloween events in my opinion. Check out Thieves guild layout redesign. Happy ‘scaping
