I have premier, I joined the Jagex accounts, I had the quest done, and so I have 4 shards. I played a good amount yesterday, and so far roughly 3-4 hours today, and yet nothing on the shard front?
Mostly I've been Thieving, some dailies and little crafting. Just wondering if it's better to stay doing one thing until a shard is gained, or if it's better to bit an bob about doing many things?

I'm having the same problem. I did a reaper task and a large slayer task with no shard. The luck needed is horrible. If I remember correctly the golden phat shards didn't take me too long to get. I'm sure I got one in the first day.

Two hours at harps followed by an hour making potion flasks. Nada. My HCIM alt got the boss shard at KBD after 350 kills - which also gave him a portal and the altar in War's Retreat so I'm happy about that at least.

Same here started playing last night and all today into tonight doing lots of things and not one shard . Something not right and it needs tweaking . Same as beach all this time a couple of ice creams and a few cocktails . Jagex needs to look at whats happening . The shard thing is all wrong anyway with a lot of people not getting shards for accounts .

If it's like the previous golden party hat shard system, they had bad luck mitigation.

More like good luck mitigation. They are super rare until you hit the target, then they are guaranteed on the next action.

It's probably like that again.

I'm pretty sure the idea was you didn't need to camp any skill because it tracks your progress. So just do whatever unless you already got that shard.

I got 2 shards from doing clue scrolls. The first one, the Combat one, came from killing a double agent, and the second one dropped from completing a step of a clue scroll.

It took me only 8 hard clue scrolls, and seems like it took only an hour or so.

I spend hours doing other skilling and killing activities, like the daily Reaper and Beach skilling, and pickpocketing elves for more clues etc but no luck there.
