can't believe how low did the official runescape forums get someone like this webmaster can just derail a conversation and try to manipulate others into starting a flame war with them with nothing being done to stop it inb4 i get muted or something for mentioning it.

I don't understand why this is so upsetting for some people. If you don't like someone having the ability to use the pronouns they prefer, just don't play that part of the game.

If something that Jagex is doing upsets you so much that you can't get past it, don't play the game.

It affects no-one playing the game if Aster wants to be referred to as they/them - in fact, Aster is a bunch of pixels so doesn't affect anything at all.

It's not a good look for anyone to say that it's controversial because that announces their prejudices loud and clear. It's hardly controversial when it's already happening all over the world.

In fact, most fantasy worlds have different species, different races, different genders without any controversy at all so why should RS be different?

Just leave others alone and get on with your own game/lives, it's not rocket science to know that it's not your business!
